Roster update

Ok. I broke down and used a beta update for our roster so everyone should be able to update their information. There is a catch that I'm working on. For some reason the icons aren't showing for the gear so I'm debugging some of the code to fix that.

Got the icons working and showing again. Just some small changes and it was fixed!

Imports for the roster don't appear to work post-patch. Well, they work, but they don't seem to work correctly. Additional item data seems to be ignored.
I gave that lich a phylactery shard. Liches love phylactery shards.

Surprisingly, I think this is actually in the PHP UI for it. If I think about it, I'll download a copy of Wowroster and see what damage can be done.

I think it's just a matter of them not having all the new items and adjusted information for already-existing items indexed yet...Just a thought.

Yeah, the update I had to issue was a beta so there will be a few bugs. The makers of the roster are still ironing out everything. I can't update the roster itself until they fix that as well. It's a waiting game ;)

It looks like it's a problem with the import. Fizzure ran into the same thing--previously indexed items are no longer showing up correctly. The data is exported correctly as a LUA structure but the import doesn't seem to work anymore.

Okay, I just had a closer look at the CharacterProfiler.LUA exported from the addon by the same name. (Being rather dense, I had been looking at a prior backup of the same file rather than the one exported last night.) The addon itself is exporting the new features correctly (parry, dodge, crit ratings, etc) but item data appears to be truncated. Here's an example:

Perhaps the API has changed (thought I doubt it), but I was wrong. The problem is in the export and not with the UI--or at least it doesn't appear to be. The upshot is that the beta does seem to process the files correctly in spite of the changes. Exported data is severely truncated, however.
