How do you eat corn?

I read this article a couple weeks ago (comments here) and it occurred to me that for some people, how you eat corn may determine whether your an optimist or a pessimist. Take the poll first, then read the articles (and comments!). Add your thoughts here.

Based on if I have spots to grip, i eat around the ends for grip so as not to pop any kernels with my hands(because I'm crazy like that). Then comes typewriter action. No kernel goes to waste!
