Just caught the news that Tribes: Ascend will be leaving beta and going gold April 12th. That is all...

Has anyone tried this? What do you think?

Steep learning curve when it comes to being a team player but they do give you the basics at the start and thats anof to get you going. That being said its insanely fast paced (why its named the fastest shooter online, right now), Insane big open worlds to shoot/fly/ski/hover/get your self lost in, and did i mention its free to play?

Let's just say they recognize my handle when I come in and play. The game plays like its earlier incarnations(the good ones Tribes 1 and 2) with great physics. If you can learn how to use the disc launcher and mortar, you are golden for lots of carnage. One of these weekends I'll be able to catch you online sometime in TS or something and we can actually party up and go into some bad ass carnage.
