There seems to be a fix for 70% of everyone..
1. Get your Cards name ie "ASUS gtx1mil 9gig"
2. Goto that manufacturers website
3. Look up Graphics Cards and find your Card (if there to confusing open your CPU and Find the Ref# use that)
4.Find downloads and Download the latest update for Bios
5.Unzip said file "should be a .Exe after that just double click it let it run and restart when it asks.
6.Pray your in that 70% because im not =(

Updating a video card's BIOS because of a broken driver seems a bit... odd?

Seems more like a driver problem than a video BIOS problem. Did you try at least reverting to an older version of the driver? I know Josh discovered a problem a number of months back with a new version causing heating issues (around 169-point-something) and reverted back without issue until the problem was resolved.

Although, I'm guessing that the reason for not reverting to the old version of the driver is because it had performance issues?

Yea I reverted back to the old driver even did the clean Download and install umm did the same with the beta drivers both had no improvement couldn't even play magica without the screen flickering different colors um tried playing some teamfortress 2 3 secs into it the frame rate drops to from what I can tell before I ctrl alt dlt out to 1. Right now I've reseated all cables airbrushed everything clean now I'm just waiting a few hours for it to cool to see it that helps

That's really weird. Maybe try uninstalling, from safe mode, and then rebooting and re-installing a different version (older or beta) also from safe mode.

Ok riddle me this cleaned it out, reseatted all the connectors, did a Safe mode Clean install of the "todate" drivers ran the 3DMark benchmark and Asus weird docter Clock thing and everything checks out. its like everything i did before hand never mattered???

Maybe a loose PCIe power connection or the fact that Windows is retarded. My bet's on the latter. Did you do the uninstall/reinstall previously from safe mode or not?

no i just did the clean install looking back maybe i should have done the uninstall. but its working now im watching it closely
