Ghostcrawler on Cata philosophy

All of us should read this. The part I found most interesting: He specifically says that we should be using less expensive enchants, gems, and flasks (specifically, Wrath flasks); food; and whatever other buffs to run heroics at this time. Honestly, I hadn't thought much of using "ghetto buffs" to make the heroics more approachable without being insanely expensive.
Letting the demon do the work for me since 2004.
I play to some degree: WoW (EU now, US before), Guild Wars 2 (EU), SWTOR.

It's good to know that they put a lot of thought into planning out the content and generally criticize their own decisions as the game progresses--perhaps more so than most of the people who complain the loudest. I'm fairly confident I won't be getting back into the game since some of the changes are pretty big deal breakers for me, but it's comforting to know that they're willing to stick their necks out to justify and explain their decisions. Admitting that tanks and healers are usually the first to get blamed for failed encounters--and suggesting possible fixes--is impressive.
I gave that lich a phylactery shard. Liches love phylactery shards.

I love his sig lines at the end of his posts. They are always signed off as something different. For instance:

Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street is the lead systems designer on World of Warcraft. He has four dogs: three epic retrievers and one green terrier suitable for disenchanting.

As always, he makes a well thought out post and gives us information we didn't have before. I like the fact that since they redid their site, there have been posts like this to show the public they are paying attention to what their customers are saying or experiencing.
Guild Wars 2 Characters
Turalia Gearspark - Asuran Engineer ----------- Turus Gearspark - Asuran Guardian
Thelena Turusian - Norn Warrior ---------------- Jake Turusian - Human Thief
Dililah Turusian - Norn Necromancer ------------ Rahl Braincrusher - Char Mesmer
Star Earthbreaker - Sylvari Elementalist -------- Rylo Preystalker - Char Ranger
