I'm assuming the video you linked to is the same as the animated GIF you PMed me? It didn't appear to load.

The GIF you sent was about 250x188 pixels, which is a bit too large for this message board. The maximum dimensions we have configured is 150x150, but even that will break the layout slightly if the window is scaled down. The maximum file size is at 160KiB, which is probably on the large side, so you'll need to make sure it's under that limit.

I tried scaling the image down (physical dimensions) and altering the color palette to use fewer colors but it appears to break the general feel of the animation. I have other tools available, but I have to dig them up. The original is currently almost a meg in size (ouch!) and far too large to use as an avatar. It should be possible to shrink it, though.

I shrunk it down and dropped 1/2 of the frames and it's still massive.

Looks like I was able to get it down to about 149KB, albeit with some color degradation (not that it matters--GIFs use an indexed palette anyway) but no frame drops:
