I hate to sound selfish by asking for help, but I would like to get together a 5-man LBRS run at some point in the near future. If time constraints are a concern, we needn't run the entire instance. I would like to be able to craft decent axes for the guild, and to do so, I need the snakestone of the shadow huntress from within (only obtainable by a 5-man run). I'm not picky about the time frame, either, as it's going to be the first step in a long and tedious process to learn all of the really good axesmithing plans =)

I'm thinking no sooner than Thursday or Friday. After today's patch, I'm curious to see what changes in latency (if any) we'll be seeing. If there isn't any change, I wouldn't mind waiting until Saturday afternoon.

Turus heard that Terenas was on the list for some network upgrades a couple of days ago. I think that might be why we've noticed fewer latency spikes during primetime. I'm beginning to think the performance issues might not be entirely related to server hardware but to network bottlenecks. I know Blizzard had some small issues with AT&T and AOL that were contributing to the horrible character list retrieval times.

I won't be on (Sat.) except quite possibly for a short intermission, see the /poke thread. I'd hate to set up a time since everyone operates on different schedules, so let's just play it by ear. If we're on, we're on; if not, we're not. And, if you go without me, good luck. I'll try to catch another run another day.
