This implies that Cataclysm is about 3-6 months out. I bet they're aiming for a near-Christmas release since they did the closed beta for the actual World of Warcraft game in summer '04.

You're probably right about that. They did the beta for WOTLK earlier than their other beta's and it was released the same year of that one's beta as well. Guess it's time I get off my rump and finish what I set out to do before the next expansion. Level alts! I won't focus on gear too much since it will be replaced pretty fast in the coming expansion.

Yeah, that's a good bet. I know we don't have a lot of guild members who regularly check the forums, but this should be a bit of a heads-up: Don't focus on gear too much, guys. You're going to be sorely disappointed if you do. Instead, focus on reputations, alts, professions, and anything else you want to level up before too long.
