The humorous thing is that the whole +500 thing that HG referred to is a Terenas meme that's been going on for years among some of its older players perpetrated by FredBSD and has absolutely nothing to do with what you might expect.

I was going to wait for HG to explain since he referenced the meme first, and I have no idea whether he wants to detail it in length, so just suffice it to say that it had something to do with the realm forums, arenas, and a French kid. The kid used the term "fanboi" almost to excess, so FredBSD and Alghaster would constantly mock him, also using the term while adding in parenthesis +500. The idea was that you gained 500 arena points every time you called someone a fanboi (+500), because clearly your ability to arena means you win at life and everyone else is just a fanboi (+500).
