Hey guys! Its recently come to my attention via Thal that someone, somewhere has reactivated my account and taken items from the guild bank and possibly my characters as well. We don't know how they did it, but we're working hard to get it resolved and have the items returned to the guild bank. I've tried every form of contacting Blizzard with no success so far. I'm very sorry for all this and I hope it gets worked out soon. I would also like to publicly thank Thal on the forums for all of the hard work he's putting into this! Thank you Thal!

I figured something was up when I saw you in Zul Drak and not responding guild chat or my tells. All I knew was, you really liked that place, all day long. I hadn't thought about checking the guild bank until Thal called me up about it. Funny thing was, they only took crap no one wanted and of very little value. If anything, we should thank them for the free space, hah! As for the gold, meh, it was only 100 gold and they could only do it once a day since I have imposed limits on the guild bank. I might lower the item withdrawal max for officers a little bit more but stuff happens. You can only plan so far ahead for things. What I don't get is, why they stayed on just your death knight and not hitting up your other characters to withdrawal more gold and what not. Guess they weren't too wise. Thal and I were scanning Zul Drak for a few minutes trying to see what they were doing with your character but we never did find you. Our guess was farming ore or leather. Hopefully you can get your account back from whatever scoundrel did it.

Just seems silly they spent money to renew your account and not get much out of it, hehe.

Haha! Well, here's pretty much what happened:

With the Battle.net merge, many Chinese were able get into others accounts and register them under different e-mails so no e-mail confirmations would be sent to the original owner. So basically, a little squinty-eyed man got a hold of my account and with it skinned up a storm (my bags are full of Borean leather). Me and Thal suspect he used a botting program to do it. I was on hold for about an hour today, but I finally was able to talk to a rep and they understood everything and returned my account to me instantly. It was a pretty smooth process. Blizzard has a promo going on right now where if you reactivate your account, you get a week free of gameplay, and the guy used that to gain access for a limited time. Luckily, I have ties to the Russians and we intend on launching a full-scale attack against the Chinese bastages who did this to us. HULLLA HULLAAAAA!

Alternate theory:

I theorize alternatively that Blizzard conspired against me to get me playing again. Now that I have logged back into the game, I've developed the sudden urge to play again. As to whether or not I actually will, who knows yet. However, I have my eye on you Blizzard Entertainment.

Ok, looks like I have some bad news. A GM gave back all our stuff for the guild bank in a few mails Damn and I thought we were rid of those items so we could have some free space, haha! The only other things I think that are missing are the eternals but not a huge loss there I guess. We can always get more!

To be honest, I think they only managed to take one or two eternals. Not like it's a big loss. I mean, there's more money to be made off the leather Sno now has on his account than two eternals. Or a handful of low level items and reagents that I'm not so sure even sell anymore.

Hahahaha! Update guys: Everything on my account has been restored. I haven't been able to log on as of late, but if they took my leather, imma be one pissy little white kid! I'll get the stuff back, I SWARZ IT!
