So...

I really don't know how to go about this... But i'll do my best...

For a little while now i've been stuck in a rut with WoW... Being on an American server while being in Australia is starting to take it's toll... The only times i can really play with a majority of the server is when i have days off work.. Or when i'm actually not busy on weekends... And i can't afford any more time off work as i have travel commitments coming up and my car is fucked and so on and so on.. So there's my problems to do with the server side of things..

There's nothing bad i can say about the guild... You know i love you guys and would do anything for you all... You are all some of the funniest people i've ever met over the internet (and i was chatting on the beta of napster waaaaaaay back lol), and also very good players.. I guess my one niggle, and it is a small niggle, is that the guild doesn't really seem to be going in the direction i would like to head... With such limited time to play these days (when i'm at work and out doing social activities), i'd really like to feel like i'm progressing as much as i can... I'm confident in saying that it's not for the loot or any bullshit like that... I would just like to push through and do things that i haven't been able to do (unless it's been dabbling in it).. Because i don't enjoy PVP, all that leaves me with is PVE (raids/dungeons), and i would like to up there pushing through all kinds of endgame.

I don't know how i'm going to solve this... Whether it be transferring servers to an Oceanic sever to fix my timezone problems, or if it will be just finding an Austrlian/NZ time guild... I still have to figure it out..

I just want to let you all know that it's nothing personal, and i am hoping you guys will let me keep an alt in the guild (not for leveling *looks at rosario* and as some of you may notice... i'm focusses on ceph and ceph only anyways) so i can still chat with you guys, and you guys can let me know if you need a hand, as i'd be very happy to help out..

So i don't really know what more i can say apart from that i'm really appreciative of all your help and kind words you've given... i'm really grateful for the laughs and good times we've had together... not that i'm saying there won't be any more :)

I'll be removing Ceph from the guild in a few days... So i can get on and say my proper and personal goodbyes... And i'll create an alt (if you guys allow) so i just jump on and chat away...

Much in the pants love.

Ceph.

Hey man, you are always welcome with any character!

If I were you, I'd look into your same time zone really since that got the job done for me. Just don't be a stranger ;)

I know with work and all, all of our schedules are different and it can be tough for us to meet up with you online and get a run done during the week or weekend.

And without further ado...

The time difference is a big problem for a lot of folks on the server, so I wouldn't be too surprised if you could find an Oceanic TZ-based guild. Leastwise, that would save you the $25 transfer fee and you could still stay here, on Terenas. On the other hand, AFAIK, most raiding guilds are US-based and follow US timezones for their raid schedule. But, there's a lot of people on Terenas--it is a day 0 server, after all--and I'm sure you can work something out. Besides, with the limited amount of play time you have, a mostly US-based guild isn't going to be accomodating to that end. And, well, we're not a raiding guild (though even if we were, I suspect you'd be in the same predicament). Latency would be a lot better on a "home server" anyway.

One great thing about this game is that even if you do transfer Ceph from the server, you can still create an alt on Terenas. I personally wouldn't have any heartburn over a "mini Ceph" to keep in touch with us and would be utterly delighted.

As I've said to everyone else in the guild: This game is what you make it. If you're not having fun (or unable to have fun) where you're at, it's time to do something about it. Sadly, sometimes that involves leaving a guild--sometimes even a server. [WARNING: OBLIGATORY 'GOON CHAT PERVERSION FOLLOWS!] Whichever decision it comes down to, I'll be behind you all the way. I might even give you a reach-around.

Good luck, Ceph. Make sure to keep us posted. And please stay in touch!
I gave that lich a phylactery shard. Liches love phylactery shards.

There's no way I can beat around the bush on this one... it makes me sad. But, like you said, you are in a tough spot. Though I wish we did more, there's no getting around it if you're facing constraints in your endeavours.

I do hope to see you on your alt, as you'd always have a place here. It won't be the same without ya. Much luck, and, even though you'll still be around I'm sure... we're going to miss you.

I've been agonizing over it for the past few weeks.. As leaving you guys was the last thing i wanted to do... But sadly it's really the only option for me at the moment... :( As always, i'm always here to help and look forward to running with you guys whenever it's needed :)

I really appreciate how you guys have handled this, and it just goes to show how awesome you guys are.
