That's the problem with athletes who push themselves a little too far. It's not terribly uncommon to find a significant androgenization of the females.
Although, IMO... muscle-bound maniacs of either sex look like freaks. Take a look at some of these guys
The story about #7 on the list isn't 100% correct. His biceps exploded not from steroid use, but because he was injecting them with a solution to make them bigger. Picture exploding saline breast implants except replace "breast" with "bicep."

With all of the things I've seen as of late, this one pushed my penis over the edge. It has now inverted itself to find refuge in my large intestine. And it says it doesn't plan to come out until next summer... great...

Well, there's an issue not only with extreme training, but also with people who are born hermaphrodites, having physical and/or genetic features that are between male and female. This is becoming more and more of an issue in women's world sports because, while a hermaphrodite may be female-dominant physically (i.e. "down there," etc.) and/or self-identify as female, they have physical and genetic traits that give them an edge over women who absolutely female. Various sporting federations are having to deal with this, though I don't know details on which sports are taking which path. This is not so much an issue for men since men outperform women in the vast majority of measured sports.
