I wouldn't recommend rushing into Dalaran at the moment, several minute lag just to talk to a vendor.
"All me got to be able to do is spell 'kill.' K-Y-Y-Y-L...."

Cause of accident: Lack of adhesive ducks.

Mathiel in Darnassus has finally earned himself enough money from your repair bills that he was able to buy himself an anvil.

That made me LOL.

They did? That's kinda funny.

I can only assume the whole point was to prevent people from switching sides and whining about someone camping them. I also can't imagine that worked too well since someone only had to have a second account to do the same thing. ;)

I dunno... I actually approved of that ban. I can remember a few times really early on when people would talk of a raid on TB in IF, and it would either be Hordies f'ing around, or the raid would go to TB and find the Horde ready for them because someone squealed.

Wow.com speculates that the end of the ban -- which, by the way, was announced after the patch on the forums and, at least yesterday, did not appear in the official patch notes -- was partly to help facilitate faction switching. I dunno, I can't pretend to drink enough Mountain Dew to think like a Blizzard dev.

It makes perfect sense to me. You can't stop someone from switching sides (even if it requires a second account), so it seems they finally just gave up.

That, and it appears that they're pushing more for PvP-designated areas. Because of this, the old world PvP of pre-BC will never again exist. Sucks? Yeah, but that's the way MMOs change and evolve.

I smell a test coming on. I think I'll assault some old world areas and see who shows up. Shadowmeld ftw!

Could be interesting. What about trying an assault on a Horde Outlands city?

Try HFP. If you thought the Horde smell bad in general, you should imagine them in sweltering heat.
