Apparently an artificial brain is about 5-10 years off from being created. I, for one, welcome our... Aww hell, just lock 'n' load. Those suckers might wanna kill us.

TED is such a mad scientist convention.
Letting the demon do the work for me since 2004.
I play to some degree: WoW (EU now, US before), Guild Wars 2 (EU), SWTOR.

It is. The 2006 TED was interesting, because they were introducing the multitouch interface then.

Though, I can't think of anyone who's come up with a useful utility for it 3 years later...
