Thankfully, you don't hear that quite as often, and I think it's because most of the individuals who didn't think woman actually played games have been burned enough by people like me who generally respond to hit-ons with "Before you start asking, I have a penis." Although, I'm not sure what would be more entertaining to watch... implying that you're a guy by the "I have a penis" comment or implying that you're a girl who already has access to a penis...
Ahh well, the gamescape has changed sufficiently enough such that we'll never truly know the answer. On the other hand, it's interesting to see that female gamers have made such significant headway into gaming culture that it isn't even a question anymore in anyone's mind (though, I think having a number of guys who play female characters have served to pollute the "OMG factor," which is beneficial to everyone).
Oh, and interestingly enough... I think it does depend on race--human females, like my warrior, tend not to get hit on very often. Yet I can hardly play my druid without some idiot drooling over her. Maybe they're into animals?

I guess it depends on how you look at it. Most of their weight is concentrated in their chest and thighs which makes them look British.
