The news is rather old by now, but it's ... kind of disturbing that someone would waste this many computers and that much money just to raid by himself. I guess that's the practical solution to not having friends.

I know... it's insane!
On the other hand, the technical expertise to pull of something like this is pretty impressive, especially since it seems he multiplexed his controls using software.
Looking back on it and considering how poorly geared the characters are (and they aren't 70 yet from what I gather, unless I read the article and follow-ups wrong), I'm wondering if the guy did this more "because it's there"--like climbing Everest--rather than because he loves WoW that much. Or maybe he just hates people so much that he'd rather play with himself.
