Lith can't post because his account here is inactive for whatever reason. However, he sends his best and thanks all that wished him a happy birthday. =)

Inactive? Hmm, it shouldn't be. I'll look into it. Get him to pop on the chat server sometime if he's still unable to log in.

Update: Somehow his account was disabled. I'm going to see if I can go through the server logs and find out why.

Update to the update: It's possible that using the password reset feature may have disabled Lith's account. I don't know if he used it or not, but that's the only thing I can see that's even remotely possible. There are a couple of other accounts that are flagged as disabled, and I'm not sure why...

Update^3: Binary server logs were disabled back in 2007 because of the disk usage, so it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to figure out what happened. Since I re-enabled Lith's account before I checked the database, anything that may have lent clues has been reset (that was a bit of dumb thing on my part). I think it may have something to do with the forum's login tries counter. It should be disabled (unlimited login attempts), but given the bugs that tend to exist in phpBB, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened to catch him. If that's the case, I may just have to rip that out of the source. I'd still like Lith to get in touch with me so I can get a better idea of what happened when he tried logging in, so pass that along to him. If it's a phpBB bug, it's bound to affect someone else sooner or later, and I'd like to get that seen to before it surfaces again

Okay, that makes sense now. Since the binary logs weren't available, I wasn't able to figure out exactly what happened. I might play around and see if there's a bug with e-mail address changes in this version.
