I'm curious if the translation offered in this article is correct. Here's a shot (along with said translation) of a Russian made CPU using an electron microscope:

I would have said "the genuine best," but otherwise it seems to be correct.
Letting the demon do the work for me since 2004.
I play to some degree: WoW (EU now, US before), Guild Wars 2 (EU), SWTOR.

Interesting. It does make sense, since I believe that microprocessor was a Russian copy of the DEC version (indicated in the article), including a translation of the English.

Although, this certainly isn't the first such occurrence. Other manufacturers have done the same thing, especially with Intel chips!

Yeah, I really love these little chip inscriptions actually.

By the way, tell me if I'm wrong, but to my knowledge the Russians are generally considered "the best" at pirating both hardware and software :-)

I'm pretty sure they are, because they have traditionally had the expertise. They definitely were good at reverse engineering things in the cold war.

The Chinese may come close, but they do have their own limitations.
