The Mozilla foundation seems interested in developing a plugin for
Internet Explorer to enable the canvas element that has been sorely lacking from IE. From the article:
IE's shortcomings won't hold back the Internet for much longer [...] because Mozilla plans to drag IE into the next generation of open web technologies without Microsoft's help.
