Ok, so after the redoing of our site we have been using the same old logo since our site was a sheer white site!
Granted, it does catch the eyes attention and all but we really need something for the site that matches the color scheme! Maybe a background graphic or what not! I lack the artistic ability it seems to come up with something better so I ask you, my guild mates, to come up with something! Hit me with what you have in mind and as a guild we can hold a vote and see who wins!
Update: I tried to post the banners in the poll but met with no success. So here is what I'm going to do, I'm posting them all here and then you can vote on them in the poll as to which one would be the best for our site. Poll ends 8/29/08.
Update: Looks like its the very last one with the 3 characters. Per Thal's request, we will remove him but I need a redo on it so it properly fits our site and what not.
I am an artistically challenged individual. lol So I will leave it up to my guildies. Now I can find a ton of non copyrighted heraldic ravens (clip art). Some of them are neat. There are also a lot of early period ravens from Norse Artwork. I will look into that and see if I give anyone some inspiration.
probably something that is at least 1024 across really. If you take a look, the site scales when you resize your window. I should probably kill that aspect and set a particular res for the site to make it easier to make a banner for heh.

You can when adding the picture to the site through HTML and what have you, but if you make a 800px wide picture and you suddenly want it 1024, it'll stretch the pic a lot and make it look really bad. easier to overdo it and rescale down. But have a fixed aspect on the site would be the easiest way to have pics, but probably the harder way to frame the site
Update: I set a res for the site but it sort of bugs me a little. Gonna sleep on it for a little bit. Sad when I'm actually starting to get the hang of messing with php nukes themes, heh. Oh yeah, we can segment the logo if need be. There are actually 2 table cells by default up top there. As you can see, our existing logo resides in one part of that. I can customize the widths if need be or we can combine submitted images in some way. Anyways, keep the entries coming!
