Tanking Hunter?

Backstory:

Turus and I were going about the Burning Blade Ruins to work on our quests when I received a whisper from a hunter asking if we were working to the Crone. We were pulling multiple mobs, which he wound up shooting, and I politely asked him to wait until Turus had gathered them up. He promptly asked if that was "safe" (never mind we've been doing this since L43). Then the exchanged (pictured above) followed through...

For a tanking hunter, he wasn't too impressive. I'm sorry, he just wasn't. If one mob could whittle him down to half his HP (and he was about a level HIGHER than most of the mobs there), he's no tank. They're not even elite.

So, Mr. Tanking Hunter. If you're reading this, please, please, please, please, please read about your class. Only your pet should tank and even then, only Beast Mastery gives you the talents for it to do so. Survival is far more useful as a mixed spec for PvP and PvE. It isn't useful for tanking. Please don't think it is.

Fixed. Forgot to add extended options to the img tag to prevent wrapping. The URL was pointing to the right place, but the wrapper around it was overriding that with a link to view the thumbnail instead.

Thanks Killem!

Just for you, Thal, I totally ripped off that MGD song.

And wrote this terrible number. Try not to wince too much, eh?

Morning Glory Dew (MGD) Presents: Real Men of Genius
(real men of genius)

Today we salute you, Mr. super duper tanking hunter guy
(Mr. super duper tanking hunter guy!)

With a raging need to let a single mob beat you mercilessly to half health, even your pet stands in the back... thinking... "WTF".
(Why does he have a pe-eeet?)

Who needs CC when you can autoshot and tank the whole damn group... if even for 20 seconds.
(20 seconds still coooooounts!!)

Let the naysayers complain as they will, but they should just save the time and uninvite that tank. Nevermind, he left, realizing your skills were superior.
(Screw this shit I'm leavin' the par-tehhhh!)

So crack open an ice-cold Morning Glory Dew you mail-clad physics defying psychopath, and keep doing what you do best. Wiping.

(Guys my gears reeeeed!!!! Does anyone have a repair bot?)

Miiiiister suuuper duper tanking hunteeeer guuuuuuuyyyyy.

(Yeah, I know that was terrible.)
