It's already true, I budget for gas before food. Unfortunetly because I work admin and sales, I can't work from home so gas get's me to work so I can buy food.

Beer will be going up too. Ethanol is currently made out of food grains (even though it could be made from sawgrass, an inedible weed). The barley that is being diverted from the food stocks means that there is less left over for beer brewers, and the grain dealers are all jacking up their prices. My dad has to have his grains imported from Europe (Finland or Holland or some shit) and it's STILL cheaper than getting domestic grain.
