I've been thinking pretty heavily on it, and have decided to let my subscription run out as of 5/4. As it stands, the game's lost a bit of the pizazz it had, and I just can't find a facet of the game in which to enjoy. It's all grown stale for me lately.

But enough complaints. Maybe it's just a needed break. Perhaps I'll be back. Can't say.

What I can say, with quite a bit of confidence, is that I've been lucky to know the "Goons and will never forget it. I know during TBC I didn't play much on the Alliance, having gone turncoat and all... but some of my fondest and most fun moments in this game have been under the BRD tag.

If I do come back, and I can't rule that out, I will miss you guys in the meanwhile. I'd be happy to give my email to all who wish to know it to stay in touch. I'll of course pop by and say hello from time to time... there's always the boards.

It has been a joy, a thrill, and a pleasure. Take care and have fun.

Lith's sentiment has been echoed by a few people recently since it seems that each new expansion just adds more reputation to grind (and more high end content many of us will never see, simply because it's there to appease the 5% of the population that's into high-end raiding). So, I have to agree. I've been thinking about it myself, but I can't quite bring myself to cancelling due in no small part to the social aspect. We'll miss ya in game, but there's always the boards! Even when WoW is long gone, the 'goons will still remain. I can guarantee that much. Heck, we're probably one of the few guilds where nearly everyone who has been part of us has kept in touch in some manner or another. There's no sense in disappearing off the face of the Earth when we've got cookies, right?

I've talked with Lith about this extensively already and everything that could have been said most likely has been said. So instead, I'll revisit just a few of the good times we had.

First up is our grand, righteous assault upon the vile Aldorks to free all of Shattrath from their ruthless regime.



The Aldorks sub commander put's up a puny fight, with his subordinate revealing soon after the fact once and for all just how slow on the uptake (read: STUPID) the Aldorks really are.



On, and on...



Soon even the wretched leader of the Aldorks herself falls before our combined Scyer might, absolutely crushing her totalitarian state and delivering a devastating blow to the organization at large. A bystander exclaims his joy at his new found freedom.



Triumphet, we celebrate with a Night Elf feast.

We reveal our sexy new jaw-dropping outfits to the Horde.



Our visit to Grim Batol, once created to be an end game raid instance along the lines of Molten Core, left to fall into obscurity.



We re-roll as Warlock and Paladin. The choice proves to be popular with the locales.



Completing the Mount quest in Stradholme. It's sort of sad when you think about it. You're destroying the only place in the entire city that has remained untainted, a place that served as the founding of the Silver Hand. Sadly for them, as Horde we do not allow our feelings to cloud our judgment. I wanted that mount and tabard, and that church was getting BURNED!!



Success! Mountage. Lith gets his dreadsteed for 156 gold plus a few hours of his time.
