Black Raven Dragoons

Hey 'Goons,

I do believe (and I may be wrong) that recently has marked my 2 year anniversary with the 'Goons.
I thought I would drop in and thank you all for being who you are and helping me progress in the game.

How it all went down (for those who may not know):

About 2 years ago, a former guild of mine (Dark Equinox) was going through some very dramatic stuff.
Many people ended up quitting the guild. I stayed because one of our officers, Alacor, remained.
Alacor is one of the greatest of all the people in the game that I've ever known. I would not just leave him in the guild all by his lonesome.
Unfortunately, after speaking (or trying to) with the leader of the guild, he pretty much told me he wanted me to quit and just didn't care anymore.
So I did just that. Alacor soon followed later to find out he was in the guild for me. (Gotta love Al)

Where did we retreat, you ask? Weeks-months before the breaking up of the guild, we found Thal and Turus. And they joined Dark Equinox.
Turns out Turus had a guild on an alt (I think ><) and was welcoming any refuges of Dark Equinox in.

So there we were, about 4-10 people, out waiting to kick some butt with the guild name "Black Raven Dragoons"

It's been a couple of years so if some of that information is incorrect, pardon me.

You really have to think of it as me, a 12 year old kid at the time, playing with a bunch of adults.
I can't imagine how hard that would've been to put up with me...

Thank you guys for having me as a part of the guild and actually accepting me for who I am and not rejecting me for my age before giving me a chance. ><
Kids are annoying, period. Nuff said.

But that didn't stop them from helping me and teaching me the mechanics of the game and how things work.

Thank you Turus for having me in the guild and creating the opportunity for me to level with the absolute best people in the game.
I love you guys very much and do think of you as family.

If I were not in the 'Goons... I don't know where I would be.

My dumb self would have probably gotten banned by now if you guys wouldn't have taught my decency.

Sno, I came after you and at first didn't know what to make of you in particular. You seemed zany. Then, I realized that everyone in the goons was zany. I felt more at home then. ^^ Been about a year and a half since I joined, and I'm glad to have gotten to know you Sno. And the rest of the goons.

I think guilds are something like a good shoe. If it doesn't fit, you get blisters and find yourself annoyed after a short while.

Happy second year with the 'goons, Sno! It's been a blast!

Very well said Sno! I know we waited for you and later found out Alacor was holding the line with you before you left DE. I appreciate everyone that decided to give our guild a chance! If it weren't for my guildmates, I probably wouldn't be in WOW anymore! You all make it possible for me to enjoy the game everyday I login. Even if we are doing something crazy
