The expansion might be interesting but I have a bit of trepidation about shooting a toon to 80. If one hero-class is all we're looking to achieve, then I'd say that 70-80 level gap is a waste of time. They should add in a few more 'hero-classes'. A healy type perhaps - think Cleric from EQ, and maybe a 'ranger' who would be like a rogue and a hunter rolled into one.

That way you aren't 'pigeonholed' into that one hero-class to enjoy your endgame experience... or start a new toon sans pre-60 leveling.

I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. But, I'm not overly thrilled about the expansion at this point. Seems like they are starting to dry up in the idea department, ne?

True enough. It's mildly irritating that you put a great deal of effort into one (or more) characters only to have that effort become moot at the release of a single expansion. I don't see why it's so difficult to release a great deal of NEW content without having to increase the level cap. You know--maybe new quest chains that give you decent gear and new 5 mans that give you the opportunity to upgrade to raid-quality gear.

But... well, such is the bane of an MMO.
