Just curious who all has the keys for Arcatraz or Karazhan? Or which step of the quest you are on.

Currently I don't have the Arcatraz key but I need the final key part for the Kara key.

I have the fragment from Shadow Lab, but that's it. Still need the other parts.

Ok, update. So far, Son, Alacor, Thalaria, and I have gotten our second keys. We will be grabbing Death tomorrow and grabbing the 3rd part of the key for us. After that comes the Black pain in the ass, I mean the Black Morass.

It would appear the trash mobs hit a tad hard in Kara.

Reports abound on the boards of crits in the 14 and 15k range.

Being a high Threat leather clad melee class, this scares me. :shock:

On a semi-related note, Kittymurder whispered me about bringing four or so of her friends along for a Kara run. They're all keyed and ready to go, they just need 5 or so more players. If all goes well, we could be trying out Kara by this Saturday.

It would be cool to hit Kara this weekend if we can finish this key chain!

It would appear as though the time-stop AoE the boss uses is range based. If we can keep our healers just barely in healing range, but out of Time-Stop range, they should be able to keep Thal up while everyone is stunned. It'd be great if Ala can meet us today, that final boss hits Thal pretty hard.

It's possible, Vest. Once you get the first part in the Shadow Labs, you can skip the boss fights in the other instances to get the 2nd and 3rd parts of the key. The only hitch is the Black Morass. We managed to get to the last boss and had a few unexpected attacks done to us. Now that we know though, I bet we can drop that guy.

We can probably power you through the Labs and other instances to get you caught up. I can't remember but I think we still have to get you through the South Shore instance before you can go to the Black Morass.

The final boss of the Black Morass is a bit of a pain. His attacks wouldn't be so bad if he couldn't stop time for 3 seconds (and the 3.2k arcane damage doesn't help). Perhaps I simply need more +stam gear for the fight, although I'm at 12.3k HP buffed... perhaps that needs to be at least 14k?

Update: Looks like we have to get Vest and Alacor the 3rd piece of the key and then we can go stomp the Morass again. Once we have done that, we can see if we can swap party members out so they can turn in their key quests as well so this way they won't have to grind to Medivh to get their Kara key built. I'm not sure if it will work that way but darn it, I'm willing to try.
