I'm not quite sure how good this is, but for some of you looking to brush up your skills or learn something new, it might be worth a shot.

Sure thing.

If you run into anything, let me know. I use Linux as my primary OS and would be happy to lend assistance if you get hung up on anything. I've read some good things about this particular course on HN, so I don't imagine you might have any particular difficulties. Plus, it appears to be affiliated with the Linux Foundation. (Note that the Linux Foundation is not the same thing as the Linux Kernel Organization--the latter of which runs kernel.org and is responsible for Linux proper.)

Note that I'm not familiar with Redhat-based distros (which includes CentOS and others), but usually the inter-distro nonsense is limited mostly to the contents of /etc and the distro-specific package managers (I don't like yum).

Debian... meh. I'm not hugely a fan of it, but I do use Debian-based distros (Ubuntu) for some things.
