I don't understand why rabbits are symbols for Easter. Everyone knows they're incredibly stupid and prone to breaking their backs due to their ginormous feet. (I wouldn't be afraid of one with a chain saw.) I nominate a honey badger for secular Easter mascot. Fits the public attitude of the holiday.
