It has been several years since I've touched WOW due to the cataclysmic disappointment of the Cataclysm expansion and I had no interest in Pandaria. With a new expansion coming out and it kindling my interest in WOW again, I've decided to give the latest expansion a shot after pressure from HG(THAT GUY) and others. I'm playing horde on Greymane with HG and his wife and we have created a new guild since apparently the word Dragoon is now a no no. The new guild we are playing under is 'The B Team'. I figured it was time for a funny guild name(stole it from the name Tirian and I used in Champions Online, teehee) to play under for the time being since I'm not sure how far I'll go with this expansion. I was impressed with the LFR tool but I have seen the downsides of it first hand. Thankfully, the nice players outweighed the douche canoes that we were being grouped with everyone. Anyways, I'm giving WOW another shot and we will see if it will hold my interest like it used to. I sort of look forward to getting back to the same order of things that made WOW great. Plus Garrisons actually look cool too. Their latest anniversary stuff includes 40 man molten core revamped to the new experience levels. It will be in the game for a month and they will remove it at the beginning of next year sometime.

It's possible the word "black" was banned rather than "dragoon," because it might remotely be considered a racial slur in some way, shape, or form, but I have no idea what permutations you tried. On the plus side, apparently any other color that is commonly expressed as a human skin color is also banned (sorry White Knights).

Hopefully color words were reserved for purposes of lore but part of me suspects that might not be the case. With this sort of pathological political correctness running rampant, if it is indeed such a thing, Blizzard can go suck donkey nards.

"Dragoon" may be reserved for lore reasons as well, now that I think about it. At this rate, we may as well have a list of "OK" words to select from. Lame.

Naturally, all the (EU) servers are down for a Saturday(!) scheduled maintenance...

Jeez, $60 for a "level 90 boost?" Did someone say cash cow?

I'm going to go out on a non-cynical note for an instant and say so far, for me, this expansion has been back to form as we haven't seen since WotLK in terms of fun gameplay and an adequate variety of engaging content. And I say that as someone who would prefer never to see another Orc NPC again.

Also really weird to play melee DPS as my main, as those of you who know my demon antics so well can attest
