FF14 is doing a free login campaign which started yesterday on the 22nd and lasts until September 1st. The game has been growing over its first full year and I think its neat that they do free weeks or weekends so people can get a feel for the game. FF14's community is very helpful and rarely have I seen any jerks in chat. Here's their 1 year anniversary schedule. pretty big spanning 2 months with a chance to participate in the past years events if you missed them.
