For those of you who haven't had a chance to notice on the Steam news updates, apparently the mech game Hawken is on early access. Looks vaguely interesting.
Although what puzzles me is that it doesn't look substantially different from the videos that were popping up on Youtube some time ago...

Due to the early beta stuff I got for it, they sent me a key for my steam client for it. I never got around to playing it but I guess I should download it into my steam and give it a shot this weekend. The realism in those videos was pretty cool but if its what I think it is, its like a mech team death match type game. Safety in numbers I always say!
