Ecto's from Melting rares bugged

I came across a lengthy post on the official forums about peoples' findings regarding ecto's from items. I'll save you most of the reading. According to an Anet rep, they are working on fixing a salvage bug that is only giving you 1 ecto from rares. Save any rares you get for now until they patch in the fix so you don't miss out on any multiple ecto salvages.

Especially if I'm the one salvaging. Only one ecto (if I'm lucky)? Working as intended!
