Potential Security Exploit: Minecraft

Minecraft isn't just a chip off the ol' block. It's an addictive and deceptively complicated construction sandbox game. Play in survival mode (multiplayer, too!) while building fortifications to protect against zombie hordes--and other baddies that appear during the night--or try your hand at massive projects in creative mode. We run a local Minecraft server instance for guild members and others on an invite-only basis. See the sticky posts in this forum for details!

Potential Security Exploit: Minecraft

Here's the thread:

I haven't read it in detail, but from what I've quickly glanced over (I'm about to go to bed!), it's possible for a malicious operator to snag your session identifier when you log in and use that to masquerade as your player on other servers. Be wary what servers you connect to, if you play Minecraft, at least until this is resolved. If you play on the 'goon server, be aware that this exploit could allow someone to use your privileges on our Minecraft instance if you connect to a malicious host!
I gave that lich a phylactery shard. Liches love phylactery shards.
