So... I decided to give WoW under Gentoo a try. The framerate isn't quite as good as I'd like (I lose about one-half to two-thirds the frame rate as it is under Windows). Buuuuut... here's something that's really amazing. The new CFS (Completely Fair Schedule) that's been patched into Linux actually works as advertised. While loading into the game world, it's possible to tab over to a different window and do something else. If you were to try the same trick under Windows... well... it just doesn't work out.

Anyway, I'll spare the boring details. Here's some eye candy (or not):
