Please please be careful about recruiting. Play with someone first, if they feel right, invite them. Someone spamming "I NEED GUILD" on chat probably won't fit right. We had a guy join today, immediately ask why he couldn't access the guild bank then quit when he couldn't get anything from it. Lets keep our Goons safe now! <3 you all!! /smooch

Generally speaking, most of the people who join like that don't last terribly long. That's part of the reason we have a 30 day probationary period before they can see the guild bank (and also why only officers can withdraw items).
There's a lot of moochers in-game, and I daresay that while our policies may make things slightly more difficult for our members, it protects everyone in the long run!
