I recently purchased Fallout 3 when it was on sale this last holiday, and I remembered stumbling across something reminiscent of the various goods in the game world (specifically, the toothpaste came to mind, although that doesn't exist in Fallout as far as I'm aware). I couldn't find the original article, but the link (above) is even better! Remember: This was from the days before radioactivity was fully understood.
