Sorry guys my comp is down pulling an error saying my NTLDR is missing. I put in my system restore or my copy or windows nothing happens it wont boot up asking to repair it or restore my other sesson?

That's weird, man.

NTLDR is the Windows boot loader which means that either something overwrote it or there's a hardware problem. You might want to run a scandisk to see if anything crops up. (Doubtful, though, 'cause surface scans are analogous to brushing feathers over a minefield and hoping you find something.)

Open Windows Explorer (Winkey + E is the fastest way), right-click your C: drive, click "properties," click the "tools" tab and there should be an option for "error checking" or some such. It'll take a while, but you'll know if there's any immediate problems.

It might be pointing to the wrong disk? Or a corrupted NTLDR? Me dunno, but that's one hell of a problem.

this mite sound retarded but my son kill my windows disk thats why its not working and i cant get a replacement any of you out there got a unused verson of xp hehe its a long shot but wth

If you had a burner, I'd imagine you could grab an ISO of XP (although, I think the product IDs have to match) so long as you have a license.

I'm not an MSDN subscriber, so I don't have any spare actual licenses.

You can find an ISO almost anywhere. I won't advocate on this site how to go about getting XP, but I'm sure a few google searches could help you out [/url]
