Well you hit it right on. This is truly what I would consider a small South Western village. I have lived all around the world (Europe, Asia, Africa and South America) and this place is by far the most unique. We don't have any modern buildings (well maybe the High School) in town.
Neet thing is, we just recently got running water and electricity. However we were warned not to use our toasters except on a rotationschedule, or else the main transformer at the electric coop would fry.
We got 8 inches of fresh snow last night, however you can't really get the feel of it from the webcam.

They also just recently upgraded to outhouses from holes in the ground.
(That webcam is really awesome.)

Well I guess they haven't gotten to my part of the village yet, as I am still using a hole...and let me tell you...at 17 degrees out...I sit and decide if i "really" need to go outside and "hover" over my hole. Takes away from my beer drinking in the Winter......
