This just bit me tonight, but the person I accidentally sent stuff to was really cooperative, helpful, and nice (and sent them back). Anyway, if you right-click an item and select "mail item to..." Guild Wars will automatically fill in a random name from someone in your viewport. So, taking the lazy route out can be problematic! Looks like it's best to just drag-and-drop the item into the compose dialog rather than right-clicking!
