Posted: Thu Jan 28, 2016 12:08 amYou know, looking back at it... there was something about the pre-release Minecraft world generator that I don't think ever fully recovered after the 1.8-beta changes. It's like two entirely different worlds. I will say that the 1.8.x-release generates better terrain, but it'll never be close to 1.7.3-beta. The variability just isn't quite there, and that's in spite of the additional biomes.
