This just in: Goons to enter the lair of the dragonkiller

As you may have heard we are currently attempting to form a collaboration with Runic Raiders to complete some raid content on a more reliable basis. One of the instances we will be focusing on will be Gruul’s lair; below you will find a list of suggested minimum stats for success in this instance. Please also check out my post on general strategy in the instance forums.

Druid
Moonkin: HP: 8,000 MP: 8,000 Other: +750 Spell Dmg, 18% Spell Crit in Caster form, 9% Spell Hit
Healing: HP: 8,000 MP: 8,500 Other: +1,400 Healing, +120 MP5
Tank: HP: 16,000 MP: N/A Other: 25,000 Armor, 415 Defense with points in survival of the fittest, 25% Dodge, 1,100 AP, 20% Crit
Melee: HP: 8,000 MP: N/A, Other: 2,500 AP, 25% Crit

Hunter
Beast Master: HP: 8,000 MP: 7,500 Other: 1900 AP, 20% Crit, 8% to hit
Marksman: HP: 8,000 MP: 8,000 Other: 1900 AP, 20% Crit, 8% to hit

Mage
All: HP: 8,000 MP: Other: +800 spell Damage, %20 spell crit, 9% Spell Hit

Paladin
Retribution HP: 8,000 MP: 6,000 Other: 1600 AP, +400 Spell Damage, 20% Crit
Healing: HP: 8,000 MP: 9,000 Other: +1,500 Healing, +80 MP5, 15% Holy Spell Crit.
Tank: HP: 12,500 MP: 5,000 Other: 490 Defense, 14,000 armor, 102.4% avoidance (while HS is up add dodge/parry/block and miss), +200 spell damage.

Priest
Shadow HP: 8,000 MP: 7,500 Other: +850 Damage
Healing HP: 8,000 MP: 8,500 Other: +1,500 Healing, +130 MP5

Rogue
Combat Swords: HP: 9,000 Other: 1500 AP, 20% Crit, +185 to Hit
Combat Daggers: HP: 9,000 Other: 1500 AP, 26% Crit, +115 to Hit
Assassination: HP: 9,000 Other: 1500 AP, 26% Crit, +115 to Hit

Shaman
Melee: HP: 8,000 MP: 6,500 Other: 1,300 AP, +9% to hit, 20% Crit
Healing: HP: 8,000 MP: 9,000 Other: +1,400 Healing, +120 MP5, 20% Spell crit
Caster DPS: HP: 8,000 MP: 8,500 Other: +800 Spell Damage, 18% Spell Crit

Warlock
Affliction: HP: 8,000 MP: 7,000 Other: +850 Spell Damage, +80 Spell Hit
Demonology/Destruction: HP: 8,000 MP: 8,000 Other: +1,000 Spell Damage, +80 Spell Hit

Warrior
DPS HP: 9,000 MP: N/A Other: 1,700 AP, +12% to Hit, 30% Crit.
Tank: HP: 13,500 MP: N/A Other: +500 Defense, 16,000 armor, % Avoidance (20 Dodge / 17 Parry / 30 Block)

These of course are guidelines depending on individual players and spec these may differ slightly. If you have questions about your characters stats and or gear please contact your friendly neighborhood officer for additional information and suggestions.

Hmm, even swapping out some PvE gear, I can't reach the +hit cap (I do exceed the crit and AP requirements, though the latter is by about 40 points with trinkets). Looks like we'll need some additional DPS classes to take my spot. ;)

Thal,

Where as i have seen the type of DPS you can throw out of your warrior i am in no way worried that you will more than exceeded our need for dps.

Plus if there is one thing gruuls needs, that one thing is more axe weilding maniacs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depending on the day and time I might be able to assist. My Alliance Warlock is far less potent then my Horde Warlock, but she more then meets these requirements just the same.

you would be a welcome addition to this raid bare in mind that TS is going to be a requirement as Gruuls needs Quick information, Exception may be allowed they are at the sole descretion of the raid leaders.

In my pants...

and on a serious note, my warrior is good to go but I would like to get a better helm, shoulders, and belt to make the healing load a bit easier if I need to tank with her. Besides that, she is ready to rock for the most part.

After checking out the requirements, I'm still pretty damn short on HP and MP. Need better pants, belt, and chestpiece. A few choice enchants might get me in there, but I'm still undergeared. Spent up all my badges tonight though!
