Although HG has been doing some WoW, most of us have been into Guild Wars 2. Not sure if you've picked it up, but once you buy the client it's more or less free-to-play (and it's pretty fun). You might be able to sucker HG back into playing in that case.

One of the things I do like about it is that there's less pressure than other MMOs, mostly because of the lack of a monthly fee--you don't feel the need to get your money's worth, so to speak. It's not as grindy, either, and leveling is relatively quick. The story is kind of ridiculous though.

I think I promised about 10 months ago that I'd check Facebook again in 3 months.

Actually, I just hate Facebook. I kinda miss the days when Internet communities were mostly focused around message boards. The walled garden/isolated community created by Facebook is dangerous to the spread of information, IMO.
I can think of some Internet "old timers" who'd probably agree. Then again, looking back on it, I think everything is still thriving in spite of it!
